James "Jimmy" Lamar Gower

James Lamar Gower (Jimmy) was born in McAllen, Texas. He passed peacefully in his sleep March 2nd, 2022 to his eternal home in heaven. He is preceded in death by his wife Lynn Ann Gower and brother William Michael (Chip) Gower III. Jimmy is survived by his son James Michael (Anastasia) Gower, daughter Megan (Samuel) Olivares, his grandsons Michael Gower, Samuel Olivares and Noah Olivares, his parents William Michael and Barbara Gower, brother David (Kem) Gower and sister Gail Gower (David Aldrich). Also surviving him are his nieces and nephews. Margaret (Kyle and Rosalind Victoria) Evins, Andrea Gower (Kyle Glover), Hayley Green, Hunter Green, Jenny Grace Gower, Emily Aldrich and Grayson Aldrich. Jimmy had a heart of gold, a smile that could light up the darkest room and a sense of humor that could even make a truck driver blush. He was also a Past Master of the McAllen Masonic Lodge #1110 and he was activity involved in the fruit and vegetable industry all of his adult life. He was passionate about riding his motorcycle and helping others. He was an active member of his church and Biker’s for Christ. He loved preaching the word of God to all. But his favorite thing was spending time with his grandsons. There will be a viewing held at Kreidler Funeral Home on Wednesday March 9TH from 5pm to 8pm and services will be Thursday March 10th at 10am. There will be no gravesite to follow.
