Hildegard (Hilda) Pérez-Treviño of McAllen, Texas, entered eternal life peacefully on June 25, 2017. Hildegard was born on Nov. 6, 1928, and was the daughter of Dora Morgan Heyser and Wilhelm Beick. Later, she became the loving stepdaughter of Mr. Gerhard Karras who adored her. Hildegard married her high school sweetheart, Enrique Pérez-Treviño in 1950. Hildegard was a devoted wife and mother, sister and aunt, and a wonderful neighbor and friend who will be remembered for her Catholic faith and devotion to help others in need. Hildegard is survived by her husband, Enrique; her four children, Hilda, Enrique, Gerardo and María Elena (Vidal); her grandchildren, Carla, Pedro, Katherin, Mónica, Enrique, Montserrat, George and Carlo; as well as her great-grandchildren, Sebastián, Sofía, María Fernanda, Vicente and Julieta. A funeral mass will be held at 10:00 A.M. Thursday, June 29, 2017, at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, 1108 W. Hackberry Avenue, McAllen, TX 78501.Interment will follow at Valley Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 3611 N Taylor Road, Mission, TX 78573. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in her memory to Comfort House Services, Inc, 617 Dallas Avenue, McAllen, TX 78501.
