Charles "Lee" Adams, 70, went to be with our Lord on March 20, 2022, after a stay at Amara Hospice in Edinburg, TX. Lee honorably fought a year-long battle with cancer. Lee was born in San Antonio on Feb. 29, 1952. He was a graduate of Edcouch-Elsa in 1970. He served in the U.S.M.C. and later pursued a life-long career in the TX Oil and Gas industry in McCook and surrounding areas. He enjoyed camping, hunting, fishing and spending time with his family, friends and colleagues. He was a character who played tricks, sang, and laughed, a lot. Lee was a member of the Masonic Lodge. Lee is preceded in death by his parents- Cecil and Martha Adams and daughter, Jamie Marie Adams. He is survived by his wife, Susan, and children - Becky (JoBen), grandson-Harper (Charity) and great-grandson Porter, granddaughter-Hallie Marie Hinds, daughter-Stacey Koepke and sons Matthew Talbot and Ryder Koepke, son-Steven Koepke and son Noah, daughter- Jacqueline (Orion) Gearhart and children Madison Sohocki, Allison and Jackson Gearhart, and son - Joshua Sohocki (Viridiana) and son John McCoy. Lee is also survived by his brother, Wayne (Kathy) Adams and multiple nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and a special member in our family, Donna Adams. The family honors the memory of Lee with a military memorial at 2 pm June 3, 2022 at RGV State Veterans Cemetery , 2520 South Inspiration Road, Mission, Tx. 78572.
